Hey everyone! Quick update with some balance improvements and new content.


CHANGES

========

- Defense System Overhaul

  Reworked the defense formula to scale better into late-game waves. Defense now increases with your character level in addition to VIT and armor bonuses. This should make the mid-to-late game feel less punishing - you'll actually feel your defensive stats mattering instead of getting steamrolled past wave 50.

- New Item: Barrier Potion

  Added a new combat consumable that completely absorbs the next enemy attack. These are pricey at 500 gold each, but they can be lifesavers when you're facing down a boss with low HP. Perfect for those clutch moments where you just need one more turn.

- New Legendary Weapon: Thunderstrike Hammer

  The hammer has arrived! This legendary weapon grants +20 damage and paralyzes enemies for 1 turn every 3rd hit. You can purchase it from the vendor for 1000 gold, or try your luck getting it as a rare drop from the Ancient Dragon and Demon Lord. High risk, high reward - the paralysis effect can completely swing difficult fights in your favor.

- UI Improvements

  Cleaned up the character sheet so equipment descriptions wrap properly and the Equip/Sell buttons stay aligned. Also fixed combat-only items (like Barrier Potions) showing a "Use" button outside of combat when they can't actually be used there.
